HubAuto Racing

HubAuto Racing is searching for a Freelance Race Mechanic for the International team’s entrance back into the GT World Challenge Asia for 2023.

HubAuto Racing is firmly placed on the Asian Le mans Series Roll of Honour after securing an invitation to the 2020 Le Mans and scoring pole with Laurens Vanthoor in the GTE Pro Class.

They have also represented in the International GT Challenge, running high-profile drivers, such as Nick Cassidy, Heikki Kovalainen and Kamui Kobayashi.

Flexibility is at the forefront of this listing; the job’s location being set for ‘Anywhere’ allows successful applicants to work with a top GT endurance team whilst being adjustable with time and location.

The job does require candidates to commit to GT World Challenge Asia and all surrounding travel to those race weekends.

You will be responsible for the successful maintenance, set-up and running of the team’s race cars, alongside working with mechanics to prepare the car and operate in pit stops.

Experience in GT racing, pit stop tyre changes or operating Paoli wheel guns is a must-have for the job requirements.

A valid passport and International Driver’s Licence is also needed for the application.

Porsche 911 RSR, Porsche GT3R or Cup Cars will be the vehicles most likely worked upon, so a desirable applicant would have former experience with these models and tig welding experience would be advantageous.

A CV outlining all relevant experience and a salary expectation, which is negotiable, must be emailed to the team.
