About the role
We are looking for an experienced Digital Activation Director to lead the planning٫ execution and optimization of our online marketing efforts across our Paid, Owned and Earned Digital Marketing Channels. Promoting products and services through digital channels is complex and everchanging. The Activation Director is the conduit to the digital team in which allows for a streamlined/strategic approach when delivering projects for sponsored and organic content/events.

Key Responsibilities 
Maintain responsibility for client digital investment and ensure they are deployed effectively and cohesive within the wider Supercars proposition of connected creativity
Conduit between Broadcast, Marketing and Commercial team to develop and execute digital activities strategically within POE channels
Lead function to achieve key client goals and provide leadership around optimisation and efficacy improvement as well as campaign troubleshooting
Maintain positive relationships with key media partners on behalf of Supercars.
Oversee strategy with internal capabilities (paid media, strategy, cx, brand planning, creative, technology) to develop fully integrated campaigns
Operate creatively and develop creative tactics and precision offerings to advance digital product across paid/owned/earned activities
Stay current on industry trends, standard methodologies and discusses potential impact with team on client work
Maximize Revenue opportunities across all Digital Channels with the ability to unlock new channels within market
Demonstrate and nurture a deep understanding of sponsors products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives
Analyse campaign/product performance to develop insights for use in campaign optimisation and in the improvement of our owned products.

Key Requirements 
9+ years of marketing experience (6+ years managing programs focused on delivering and optimizing digital campaigns, preferably with large clients)
In-depth understanding of various marketing channel tactics (e.g. search, social, display): campaign management, reporting/metrics, planning process, creative uses, and optimization
Strong experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel: speed/efficiency, pivots, charts, formulas, calculated fields, etc.
Strong experience working with marketing technology platforms and analytics/reporting tools
A strong understanding of Paid, Owned and Earned Media.
The ability to deliver recommendations on key strategies to internal and external stakeholders
Intelligent use of data in client recommendations. Experience with industry known DMPs
The ability to lead relationships with key partners internally and externally.
The ability to lead the training of other members of the media team and working to promote cross skilling
