Event and Logistics Assistant

RaceFuels, Australia’s leading specialist logistics and fuel supplier to the motorsport industry is recruiting an entry-level Warehouse and Event Assistant.

This position reports to the Operations Manager and Event Supervisor and will assist with both warehouse operations as well as providing event support at race circuits around the country.

Key Responsibilities:
Within the warehouse you will assist with:
• Stock control and equipment maintenance
• Blending of fuel with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Testing fuel to ensure it is within tolerance
• Dispensing and drumming fuel in preparation for dispatch
• Local and intra-state deliveries to customers and race circuits

Please note applicants must be able to attend motorsport race events therefore interstate travel and weekend work applies, up to 12 weekends per calendar year in which you will:

• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks for events
• Set-up and pack-down of event equipment.
• Assist with delivering fuel to Competitors at race circuits
• Dispensing of fuel into drums and competition vehicles
• Accepting payment of fuel via cash and EFTPOS (at selected events)
• Assist with maintaining accurate documentation at racing events
• Serving and assisting customers in a professional and efficient manner

Essential Skills:
• Valid Australian drivers licence
• Forklift licence and demonstrated experience
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision is required
• Ability to work cohesively in a small team environment
• Experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Relevant work experience will be highly regarded
• Heavy vehicle licence is advantageous but not a necessity
