Sport Development Officer

Speedway Australia is the peak body for Speedway racing in Australia, overseeing 97 racetracks and over 13,000 license holders across the nation.

We are on the lookout for a new dynamic Sport Development Officer to service the NSW area.

Our ideal team member is passionate about motorsport, driven by advancement, and possesses the motivation, integrity, skills and desire to work with a great team to elevate our sport to the next level!

Our Sport Development Officers work hard but have a lot of fun on the journey of advancing Speedway in Australia. Some of the tasks include: –

• Working with a portfolio of Speedway Australia tracks to assist them with funding activities and other initiatives that strengthen their capabilities as venue operators

• Nurturing programs to support youth engagement and retention within the sport

• Representing Speedway Australia at various stakeholder events

• Developing and nurturing new ideas within the sport

• Assisting with implementing and monitoring Speedway Australia’s Strategic Plan
