PremiAir Racing commences recruitment drive
Supercars squad PremiAir Racing is looking for personnel to fill various roles within the team.
Owned by hire magnate and drag racing driver Peter Xiberras, the championship’s newest team finished its inaugural season 10th in the Teams’ Championship.
This year, the Gold Coast-based team is running Gen3 Chevrolet Camaros for James Golding and Tim Slade.
To bolster its ranks, the team has commenced a recruitment campaign, recruiting for various roles including engineers, mechanics, as well as fabrication and panel assembly staff.
PremiAir Racing is looking for people who are willing to work within a high-performance environment and are committed to providing an outstanding level of service.
Specifically, the engineering role requires an applicant with a mechanical engineering qualification, experience with Motec data acquisition systems and software, with network and high-level computer skills beneficial.
The mechanic, fabrication and panel assembly roles require personnel with experience in motorsport, preferably in Supercars.
There may also be opportunities for people to undertake work experience with the team, with those interested required to have the ability to work well with others and possess a desire to succeed, with a high degree of organisational skills.
All the advertised roles require strong attention to detail, the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team, ability to prioritise and multi-task, as well as able to work to strict deadlines.
The successful applicants will be required to travel for the full race season, as well as to work weekends where needed.
Applicants must be reliable, disciplined and able to communicate well with others.
