Junior Mechanic

Shell V-Power Racing Team is seeking an enthusiastic junior mechanic to join our expanding team. The successful applicant will be part of our crew in the workshop that build and maintain the Shell V-Power Ford Mustangs in Repco Australia Supercars Championship. 

Mechanical experience is preferred and experience in racing even more beneficial. This person will be a vital part of the race mechanic team and will be assisting with all preparation, servicing and setup of our Shell V Power Racing Team Mustang’s. Other roles may include panel fitting, preparation of the teams spares packages, brake packages and loading and unloading of the teams transporter. 

Good communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility with work hours and a high level of motivation are a must for these roles. The most important aspect is a willingness to learn and listen from experienced race mechanics.
