About the role

We are looking for someone to be responsible for the management and execution of Supercars brand advertising and performance marketing, to generate traffic with high propensity to act; using paid digital ads. Will work directly with Marketing team and our media agency to deliver on all defined business KPI’s.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Establish the end-to-end digital marketing capabilities and strategy that aligns with the needs and goals of the businesses
  • Lead the implementation of these capabilities, such as media planning and buying, search, conversion rate optimisation and data and analytics to support future business growth for:
    • Ticket Sales,
    • App Downloads
    • Membership Signups
    • Event Awareness
  • Working alongside Senior Stakeholders, Digital Team, and business unit Marketing leaders
  • Establish a best of breed approach to the use of marketing technology
  • Work closely with the Digital Experience and Loyalty teams to ensure that the marketing technology strategy aligns with the organisation’s broader digital strategy and efforts
  • Lead the analytics and reporting function in digital campaigns with a focus on optimisation
  • Develop and lead the implementation of the longer-term data and analytics capability, in consultation with the relevant marketing and business leaders

  • Establish best practices around the use of data and analytics to inform marketing and campaign effectiveness and lead our overall approach to use of digital marketing agencies
  • Work with other team members to hit organizational goals and objectives
  • Create a test & learn framework to ensure you are constantly striving for success
  • Collaborate with technology partners and publishers to stay up-to-date with new features and industry trends

Key Requirements 

  • 5+ years’ experience in Paid Media Management – Agency or Brand side
  • Strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem and media landscape in Australia
  • Experience in media planning and buying, lead generation and acquisition strategies 
  • Strong Programmatic, Paid Search and Paid Social experience
  • Self-starter, fast learner who is detail-oriented and has critical thinking
  • Strong campaign and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using systems to create quality reporting and gleaning insights to drive business decisions
  • Ability to manage issues and multiple stakeholders
  • Google Marketing Platform experience 
  • Hands on experience in paid social ad platforms including Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Strong team player
